Wyana has performed as a percussionist across Australia, and is currently principal percussionist with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.  She has performed widely in the Canberra community as both a percussionist and musical director.  Highlights of her career have included being soloist with the Canberra Pops Orchestra in 2007, appearing on a ‘Tall Poppies’ recording of the music of Sandra France in 2005 and working closely with world renowned percussionists Steve Schick, Mark Ford and Mike Udow at the Australian Percussion Symposium in 2003. Her passion for contemporary chamber music has seen the formation of percussion duo Chix with Stix with friend and colleague, Mary Broughton.
